Dr. Michelle Seelman is a psychiatrist who specializes in the mental health needs of children, adolescents and young adults.  She also has a special focus on women's mental health.  She is board certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.

Dr. Seelman's practice focuses on the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, behavior problems, school difficulties and family disruption.  She works collaboratively with individuals, families and other mental health professionals to design a comprehensive treatment plan that suits the needs of each individual and family.

In the July/August issue of Bethesda Magazine, Dr. Michelle Seelman was named one of the top doctors in the region. She was chosen from a talented field of physicians as one of the top physicians in the field of pediatric psychiatry through a rigorous screening and selection process by Professional Research Services (PRS). The research service conducted an online peer-review survey of area physicians. They were asked to nominate fellow physicians they deemed the best in their field of practice. Many votes were cast honoring excellence in all fields of medicine. The featured doctors were screened and selected through the verification of licensing and review of any infractions through applicable boards, agencies and rating services. Receiving this honor is especially meaningful to Dr. Seelman because it reflects the collaborative spirit of healthcare providers throughout the community who have worked so diligently to provide high quality health care to patients during very challenging times.
